Juvéderm Ultra XC is a plump gel for lip augmentation. It is a crystal-clear gel that is injected directly into and around the lips using a small needle to temporarily add the desired range of fullness for lip enhancement in adults. The lidocaine in the gel improves the comfort of the injection by reducing sensitivity to pain. Juvéderm Ultra XC lasts up to one year with optimal treatment.

Juvéderm Ultra XC may cause some side effects that vary between patients. Common reactions include temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, firmness, lumps or bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration at the injection site. These symptoms typically subside within four weeks after the injection.
What can I expect during a Juvederm Ultra XC treatment session?
At CARE, your treatment begins with a detailed discussion with your provider to align on your goals. Before starting, formal "before" photos will be taken for your medical records. A topical numbing agent will be applied to the injection site and left for 30 minutes to ensure your comfort. Once numbing is complete, your provider will proceed with the injections.
