With A Warm, Caring Staff and Stunningly Natural Results,
Our Approach to Surgery is Anything but Plastic

CARE Plastic Surgery is pleased to give back to the local North Carolina community through financial contributions, educational outreach, time and in-kind donations and gifts. Since we live and practice medicine in North Carolina we have focused our philanthropic efforts on our Carolina patients most in need of breast reconstructive surgery. Many of the partners for our practice support and foster breast reconstruction research, health, healing, and awareness. Since the American Society of Plastic Surgeons estimates only 26% of breast cancer survivors are ever made aware of their post-mastectomy reconstructive options, we strive to do our part to spread the word of federally-mandated insurance coverage for breast reconstruction so that all women will be made aware of their reconstructive surgical options. Some of our philanthropic partners include:

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Backpack Buddies: For each offer claimed below we’ll donate three lunches to children in need. As a special thanks, you have the option to receive BOTOX® Cosmetic for as little as $8/unit!

Little Pink Houses of Hope — Designed to promote and foster recovery for breast cancer patients by offering opportunities for survivors to reconnect and celebrate life. Little Pink Houses of Hope provides week-long beach retreats in the Carolinas for breast cancer survivors and their families.

Caring House of Durham — A special place that provides adult cancer patients and accompanying caregivers with a comfortable, supportive, and affordable place to stay during outpatient treatment at the Duke Cancer Institute (DCI).

The Pink Ribbon Luncheon — A gathering to raise funds to assist patients in the Norville Breast Care Center in Alamance County.

The Pretty in Pink Foundation of Raleigh, NC–The Pretty In Pink Foundation aids breast cancer patients who have limited health insurance benefits, or in many cases, no health insurance benefits available at all. Often, these people do not qualify for government-funded or assisted programs.

The Women’s Center — The Women’s Center is a safe space for homeless and at-risk women in need of housing, medical care, and counseling. For each membership purchased on Giving Tuesday, CARE will donate a gift card to The Women’s Center.

Giving Tuesday is a national day of generosity and celebration of community collaboration. This year, Giving Tuesday is on Nov. 29 and we hope to support our local community by donating gift cards for essential needs to the women at The Women’s Center in Raleigh, NC.
