CARE Plastic Surgery is pleased to give back to the community through financial contributions, educational outreach, time, in-kind donations and gifts. Since we live and practice medicine in North Carolina, we have focused our philanthropic efforts on giving back to our local community.
Some of our philanthropic partners include:
NRCC Foundation – 7th Annual Pink Ribbon Classic
- This month we are honoring breast cancer awareness month by supporting local causes and wearing pink on Wednesdays.
Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Backpack Buddies
- Designed to provide children experiencing food insecurity with nutritious, kid-friendly, pre-packed meals for the weekend- when they would not have access to a school’s free lunch and breakfast.
Little Pink Houses of Hope
- Designed to promote and foster recovery for breast cancer patients by offering opportunities for survivors to reconnect and celebrate life. Little Pink Houses of Hope provides week-long beach retreats in the Carolinas for breast cancer survivors and their families.
Caring House of Durham
- A special place that provides adult cancer patients and accompanying caregivers with a comfortable, supportive, and affordable place to stay during outpatient treatment at the Duke Cancer Institute (DCI).
The Pink Ribbon Luncheon
- A gathering to raise funds to assist patients by providing financial assistance through donations and fundraising activities to area breast cancer patients in need. CARE was a part of the Norville Breast Care Center Luncheon in Alamance County in 2019.
The Pretty in Pink Foundation of Raleigh, NC
- The Pretty In Pink Foundation aids breast cancer patients who have limited health insurance benefits, or in many cases, no health insurance benefits available at all. Often, these people do not qualify for government-funded or assisted programs.
The Women’s Center

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
- A celebration of courage and hope, a movement uniting communities to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. Collectively grown into the nation’s largest and most impactful breast cancer movement.
