After numbing the area, a small incision is made to access the natural breast plane. Using the Motiva Channel Separator, your surgeon creates a precise pathway, allowing access to the implant space without fully cutting or disrupting surrounding tissue structures.
A temporary inflatable device is then used to gently prepare a space tailored to the implant’s exact size. This controlled expansion helps maintain the integrity of the surrounding anatomy while ensuring a precise fit. Once the pocket is prepared, the Motiva SmoothSilk® Ergonomix implant is inserted using a no-touch technique. The incision is then carefully closed, typically resulting in a smaller, more discreet scar.
Because this approach avoids full pocket dissection and is performed without general anesthesia, many patients experience a more streamlined recovery and can return to light daily activities within a short time.
