Dr. Brian Coan is CARE Plastic Surgery’s double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. After studying mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Coan attended medical school at the University of Chicago – Pritzker. He completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center, serving his final year as Chief Resident. Dr. Coan has extensive experience with body contouring after massive weight loss and is a sought-after educator of plastic and reconstructive surgery residents from both Duke and UNC Medical Centers.
