SkinCeuticals Advanced Corrective Peel
A professional-grade peel using a blend of salicylic acid, lactic acid, and phenylethyl resorcinol, this treatment can effectively reduce discoloration, unwanted texture, and pore visibility. It works by exfoliating away dead skin cells and turning over a new, healthy layer of skin using active ingredients and chemical exfoliants. This process keeps the skin healthy, bright, and unclogged through a series of four peels spaced four weeks apart. Enjoy it as a deep treatment before a big event or as a regular part of your skincare regimen to keep your skin soft, even, and free of damage.
During treatment, our skincare experts can ensure your peel is customized to the exact depth and time frame for your unique skin concerns. However, this chemical peel option is considered to be light and requires little downtime. Most patients experience only slight burning or tingling during treatment. You may notice some light peeling or crustiness afterward, but this usually subsides within a day or so. We can recommend the right products for at-home use to complement your SkinCeuticals results. It’s important to regularly wear sunscreen in the days after your peel treatment in order to prevent hyperpigmentation.
Micropeel
The micropeel is an extremely light chemical peel option that can effectively exfoliate the surface of the skin, freeing it from dead cells, debris, and built-up oil. This happens when an alpha hydroxy or beta hydroxy acid is applied to the skin by a skincare professional and left for a short amount of time. Once the desired depth of treatment is reached, the solution is washed off and the skin is neutralized. Most patients experience only light tingling during this treatment.
There’s no downtime for this treatment, and you can return to your regular activities immediately afterward. You can even apply makeup and your regular skincare regimen (although you should verify any active ingredients you regularly use with our skincare specialists). Although many patients don’t notice any redness or visible effects afterward, it’s not uncommon if you have fair or sensitive skin. In most cases, we recommend a series of six peels spaced two weeks apart (which is a shorter timeframe than most peel options). You’ll have a noticeable glow for up to two weeks after your peel procedure, and we can recommend the right at-home products to maintain your results.
