During Your CoolSculpting® Consultation

At your in-person consultation, you will have the opportunity to meet with one of our expert providers who will assess your areas of concern, the CoolSculpting® Elite procedure, determine a treatment plan, and discuss pricing and financing options. We will also take some “before” photos of your desired treatment areas which will be shared with our double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Brian Coan, to ensure that you have the best treatment plan in place to achieve your desired outcome.

Are You a Good Candidate?

The most common treatment areas are the abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs, upper arms, bra fat, and double chin. The ideal candidate is close to their ideal weight and looking to reduce stubborn fat in areas that have been unaffected by diet and exercise.

What is a CoolSculpting® Elite Procedure Like?

After you have had your CoolSculpting® consultation, you will come in for your actual treatment. Your provider will start by outlining the area to be treated before placing a gel pad over the treatment area. This acts as a barrier between the CoolSculpting® applicator and your skin. With CoolSculpting® Elite, two areas of the body can be treated at once, expediting the entire process.

Once treatment starts you will feel a light suction followed by an intense cold. After about 10 minutes the treatment area will go numb while the device works to freeze fat cells. When your treatment is over, your provider will massage the frozen fat cells to break them up. These crystallized frozen fat cells will eventually become dead fat cells that your body naturally flushes over the course of 1-3 months.
