At CARE Plastic Surgery, Dr. Brian Coan performs his breast augmentation surgery exclusively using the Natrelle® INSPIRA® Collection of breast implants. This collection offers the largest selection of smooth breast implants and is the #1 breast implant selected by leading US physicians. Often referred to as “gummy bear implants,” Natrelle® INSPIRA® silicone gel implants are made in five different profile options and three unique gummy gels Natrelle® INSPIRA gives you options to help you achieve your desired look.
What are Natrelle® INSPIRA® Implants?
Natrelle® INSPIRA® is a collection of silicone-filled smooth implants that are used for breast augmentation surgery. Of all the breast implant options available, those in the Natrelle® INSPIRA® Collection, are known for being the least textured breast implants. No matter the size, profile, shape, or projection of your chosen implants, Natrelle® breast implants are always smooth with a full, round, and soft feel when held in your hands.
Dr. Coan’s Preference
Dr. Brian Coan is an award-winning, nationally renowned, double board-certified Plastic Surgeon and a member of the distinguished Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). At CARE we specialize in creating lasting results whether you are looking for a subtle enhancement or a more dramatic change!
Dr. Brian Coan prefers to use round implants and place them sub-muscularly using inframammary incisions (below the breast crease) to minimize scarring. His primary focus is delivering the outcome you desire. Like many experienced plastic surgeons, Dr. Coan prefers the use of Natrelle® INSPIRA® breast implants in order to provide the most natural-looking breast augmentation.
Size, Profile, Shape, and Texture
There are three different gummy gels you can choose from to achieve the look and feel that you desire for your breast tissue. Responsive gel (gummy) looks and feels the most like natural breast tissue. Soft touch (gummier) is the middle-ground of these gummy breast implants, meaning that they still move around but hold their shape more than responsive gel implants. Cohesive implants (gummiest) are the most structured of the three and maintain their fullness regardless of your positioning or movement. All three types of implants come in low, moderate, and full profiles to allow you to achieve your desired shape.
Both profile and gel type will be considered as well as sizing to help you reach your aesthetic goals whilst also complementing your pre-existing anatomy. Dr. Coan will make sizing recommendations after you both examine all of your options.
Things to consider when choosing your implant size are your lifestyle and your existing anatomy. To simplify this process, we will have the opportunity to do a full sizing session for you at your consultation where you will “try on” a variety of implant sizes to determine what suits you.
Implant Exchange
If you have had a breast augmentation done in the past but are interested in leveling up your breast implants with Natrelle® INSPIRA®, Dr. Coan offers implant exchange procedures to patients. Natrelle® INSPIRA® implants offer a fuller look in the upper portion of the breast for a bolder, but still natural feeling look. Patients may desire an implant exchange procedure if they have experienced breast implant rupture, implant deflation, capsular contracture, changes in their breast tissue, or have changed their aesthetic desires regarding implant shape, size, or profile. An implant exchange procedure pairs well with a breast lift procedure.
