Results and Recovery

• Use an ice pack during the first two days to minimize swelling
• Clean the treated area 2-5 times per day with saline or diluted vinegar solution

• Use plenty of moisturizer on the treated area daily
• Apply protective skin treatments as instructed by your doctor and follow all their recommendations

Following these steps will help your new skin grow healthy and give you optimal results. The first week is usually the most uncomfortable, but once the skin has stopped peeling, a new layer of bright, healthy skin will be revealed. Your skin will still be red for several weeks, but after 2-3 months it will lighten to a pink hue.
