Consultations

Skin Care Consultation with Medical Aesthetician (25 Min.)

This visit with our Medical Aesthetician includes a detailed assessment of your current skin type, discussion of your skin care goals, and a review of recommended treatments.  During your assessment, you’ll receive a comprehensive skin care analysis using our world-class imaging technology.  You’ll conclude your visit with a specially designed skin care treatment plan for the future.

Cosmetic Consultation with Physician (60 Min.)

This appointment reserves a full hour of time to review both your health history, your cosmetic and skin care needs with our Managing Physician, Dr. Brian S. Coan.  During this consultation, you will meet directly with Dr. Coan as he answers your questions and shares recommendations for both cosmetic and aesthetic methods based on the latest scientific research to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.  Dr. Coan is a double board certified plastic surgeon by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Surgery.  Today he serves as Clinical Adjunct Faculty for Duke University’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division.

Peels

ViPeel — Skin Correction Peel

For our patients with sub-dermal skin issues like stubborn age-spots, melasma, hyperpigmentation, acne scars and freckles we recommend the medical grade ViPeel. Men, women and teens in the Triangle find the ViPeel stimulates the production of collagen and helps clear acne skin conditions, reduce or eliminate acne scars and helps reduce spots, lines and wrinkles.

CARE Pumpkin-sense Peel + Mask

The CARE Pumpkin-sense Peel + Mask is perfect for our North Carolina skincare clients with sensitive and reactive skin, as well as for those who experience Rosacea, Hyperpigmentation or Acne. A blend of pumpkin enzymes, ginger, clove and glycolic is applied to stimulate dermal-cellular regeneration. Finish with the Replenish Pumpkin Mask to hydrate and calm your skin.

CARE Glow Peel (50 Min.)

This is CARE Plastic Surgery’s signature peel.  This peel is appropriate for all skin types with the exception of those who possess particularly sensitive skin or Rosacea.  The CARE Glow Peel improves texture, tone, and clarity and you’ll be sure to leave your treatment feeling refreshed and revitalized.

CARE Advanced Glow Peel (50 Min.)

This peel is recommended for those looking for a more in-depth treatment.  The CARE Advanced Glow Peel is ideal for those individuals whose skin has greater amounts of sun damage or prominent lines and wrinkles.  Like the CARE Glow Peel, this treatment is not recommended for those with sensitive skin or Rosacea.

CARE Organic Peel (50 Min.)

For those desiring a holistic approach to meet their skin care needs, this treatment uses fruit enzymes to lightly exfoliate and nourish your skin.  Antioxidants will leave your skin with a fresh and vibrant glow.  This treatment is ideal for all skin types, including those with Rosacea and sensitive skin, as well as for those women who are pregnant or nursing.

Our CARE Medi-Facial is designed to provide you with the first step into a full service medical facial.  During this signature treatment performed by our Medical Aesthetician, you’ll receive a skin cleansing, light extractions if necessary, facial massage, a customized mask, and SPF moisturizer to protect you from the sun’s harmful rays.

CARE Signature (75 Min.)

With the CARE Signature, you’ll be sure to enjoy our two premier aesthetic beauty treatments.  Begin your visit with our complete CARE Medi-Facial followed by our signature CARE Glow Peel.  By combining these two treatments on the same visit, not only will your skin receive the ultimate in deep skin cleansing, but your skin will be radiant as you leave the office.

CARE Complete (75 Min.)

This treatment is the ultimate in pampering and relaxation.  The CARE Complete combines the CARE Medi-Facial, the CARE Glow Peel, and our gentle Paraffin hand dip.  This treatment is the perfect gift for that person who “has it all!”

Deep Cleansing Back Treatment (50 Min.)

To address your back, this treatment will provide cleansing, exfoliation, extensive extractions, light massage, mask, and moisturizer, so that your back feels completely renewed and purified.

Deep Pore Cleansing Facial with Extraction (50 Min.)

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

 

For those who are looking for a more in-depth skin care treatment resulting in longer lasting results, we offer various laser skin care treatments as well as IPL.  By choosing light therapy, you’ll receive a non-invasive and gentle technique to improve brown areas or red areas due to sun damaged skin, as well as to reduce the appearance of age spots and redness caused by visible capillaries.  Although this treatment can improve almost any area of the body, most individuals identify a desire to improve the skin on their face, neck, décolleté, arms, and hands.  All IPL treatments are overseen by Managing Physician, Dr. Brian S. Coan, to ensure you receive the premiere level of patient care.

Microdermabrasion
